As an architecture firm, we strive to create impactful buildings that respond not only to the surrounding environment but also to the people who inhabit them. As a builder, Smock Studio strives to create responsible buildings that respect the materials and labor required to bring a project together. Our experience in architecture and furniture design directly informs our buildings, bringing a level of craft and collaboration unique to us. It is not uncommon for us to take on some of the most delicate detailing in a project. As a result, we are an excellent choice for highly customized detailing and complex design challenges. I founded Smock Studio as a way to channel my many passions within the design world. As a licensed Architect in Austin, Texas with ten years of experience in architecture and building, I have contributed to several award-winning projects alongside a wide variety of teams. In recent years, my architectural background and hands-on skills in carpentry and furniture design have naturally evolved into a dedicated build practice. This work brings together craftsmanship and construction knowledge to create nationally recognized architecture.
I am my own harshest critic and work tirelessly to ensure every project meets the highest standards—both for my clients and for my own sense of pride in the work.
