40 Acres Ranch is a 2,000-square-foot Texas ranch home in Paige, Texas, designed for a couple preparing to retire to country life. Set on the high point of the lot, the house features expansive front and back porches that take full advantage of the surrounding landscape. The exterior walls are clad in white Texas limestone, while the columns and starburst details are crafted from rough-cut cedar.

Inside, the layout is organized into three distinct sections: the Primary Suite, the Open Living area, and the Guest Quarters. The open Living, Kitchen, and Dining spaces share a large 20-foot vaulted ceiling and a striking Texas limestone fireplace. The original plan included a two-car garage, which was later removed to preserve the symmetry of the front and back façades.
